9:00 AM at Biggs H-D. Ride to Richies in Murieta for breakfast. 34 mile route, all freeway. Note: ALL participants must complete a waiver for this ride. Waivers will be available at the ride, but save yourself some hassle by downloading your form from our web site and filling it out before leaving home.

7:00 AM at Biggs H-D. Ride to Yuma Prison. Then Cracker Barrel for food. 185 mile route, mostly freeway. This will be our first Kickstands Up one-night overnight ride. Anyone who wants to return home the same day may do so. For those who want to spend the night, see the attached flyer for all the info.

10:00 AM Biggs. Tour the Winchester Cheese Factory, then off to Ritchie's for lunch. All back roads. The final 1/4 to 1/2 mile is hard packed dirt road. Parking is on pavement.

9-12 AM Biggs H-D. 9-10 is a service seminar. Demo rides start approx 10 AM. May is Female riders month. This is a great time for some of the ladies that have entertained getting a Harley to come on down and try one out.

3 Closed All Aboard!!!
7:00 AM Biggs. All day ride to the historic Kelso Train Station. Leave Biggs and have breakfast at the Farmhouse in Banning. From there we go through Twentynine Palms and Amboy to the train station. Lunch will be in Twentynine Palms, either on the way up or the way back, depending upon time. There is also a small restaurant at the train station. Although the official ride ends at the train station, it's possible we could also find ourselves at Richie's on the way home. Freeway and back roads. Stay hydrated. Bring water and snacks. Temperatures will vary widely so wear layers. Leave the porch light on; this ride is 200 miles one way. Let's ride!

1:30 PM. After our GAR ride that ends at Richie's in Murrieta we have another long day. A freeway blast to Calico Ghost Town for the Bluegrass in the Spring Festival. This will be a 2 - 2.5 hour freeway blast departing from Richie's. Leave the porch light on. Bring water and dress for weather changes. It may be windy, hot and lots of fun. 25 Closed Memorial Day Ride to Fort Rosecrans with San Diego HOG
7:30 AM Biggs. The 108th annual Memorial Day Service and Day of Remembrance ceremony at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery . Music by the Heritage Kids and U.S. Marine Corps Band, a bagpipe player, readings and a cannon and rifle salute. Music begins at 8:45 a.m. The keynote speaker will be Marine Brig. Gen. Angela Salinas, commanding general of Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego and the Corps' Western Recruiting Region. We will ride to San Diego H-D and meet up with San Diego HOG. We will then leave in our group, and SD HOG will leave in their group for Fort Rosecrans for a Memorial Day Event. We will have special parking.

Points of interest along the route include the Citizens Motor Car Company: America’s Packard Museum, also in Dayton, and spectacular routes through Kentucky’s Bluegrass Country with Blue Ridge mountain vistas. Tue-Thu 15-24 FYI Pony Express Ride (H.O.G.)...  link
St. Joseph, MO to Sacramento, CA. This touring rally retraces the historic route that the original Pony Express riders followed in 1860-1861 as they moved mail through America’s Wild West. Points of interest include various museums tracing the history of the famous ride, and actual Pony Express Station facilities and monuments as well as the opportunity to stand on the original Pony Express trail in several locations. Activities include seven dealer-sponsored events along the route and the opportunity to gather with H.O.G. members from throughout the United States and the world. Rally attendees will cover territory that tested the endurance skills of Pony Express riders on horseback nearly 150 years ago. Capacity is 750 and registration opens on May 20, 2009.

Time TBD at Biggs H-D. Ride to the Ride for Kids at Mira Costa College. Join hundreds of other motorcyclists for a scenic ride through southern California. You’ll have a great time while raising funds for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's medical research and family support programs! Riders on all makes and models are welcome. The ride will loop back to Mira Costa College. After a light lunch, participants will enjoy a Celebration of Life program that features interviews with young brain tumor survivors—the Ride for Kids® stars of the day. Award presentations to top fundraisers and distribution of premiums will follow. The minimum donation to ride is $35, but the more money you raise, the more premiums you earn.

Sat	2	Closed	Who Cut the Cheese? ride 10:00 AM Biggs. Tour the Winchester Cheese Factory, then off to Ritchie's for lunch. All back roads. The final 1/4 to 1/2 mile is hard packed dirt road. Parking is on pavement.
Sat	2	Dealer	Women's Only Demo Event ... link 9-12 AM Biggs H-D. 9-10 is a service seminar. Demo rides start approx 10 AM. May is Female riders month. This is a great time for some of the ladies that have entertained getting a Harley to come on down and try one out.
Sun	3	Closed	All Aboard!!! 7:00 AM Biggs. All day ride to the historic Kelso Train Station. Leave Biggs and have breakfast at the Farmhouse in Banning. From there we go through Twentynine Palms and Amboy to the train station. Lunch will be in Twentynine Palms, either on the way up or the way back, depending upon time. There is also a small restaurant at the train station. Although the official ride ends at the train station, it's possible we could also find ourselves at Richie's on the way home. Freeway and back roads. Stay hydrated. Bring water and snacks. Temperatures will vary widely so wear layers. Leave the porch light on; this ride is 200 miles one way. Let's ride!

Music by the Heritage Kids and U.S. Marine Corps Band, a bagpipe player, readings and a cannon and rifle salute. Music begins at 8:45 a.m. The keynote speaker will be Marine Brig. Gen. Angela Salinas, commanding general of Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego and the Corps' Western Recruiting Region. We will ride to San Diego H-D and meet up with San Diego HOG. We will then leave in our group, and SD HOG will leave in their group for Fort Rosecrans for a Memorial Day Event. We will have special parking.

Tue-Thu	15-24	FYI	Pony Express Ride (H.O.G.)... link St. Joseph, MO to Sacramento, CA. This touring rally retraces the historic route that the original Pony Express riders followed in 1860-1861 as they moved mail through America’s Wild West. Points of interest include various museums tracing the history of the famous ride, and actual Pony Express Station facilities and monuments as well as the opportunity to stand on the original Pony Express trail in several locations. Activities include seven dealer-sponsored events along the route and the opportunity to gather with H.O.G. members from throughout the United States and the world. Rally attendees will cover territory that tested the endurance skills of Pony Express riders on horseback nearly 150 years ago. Capacity is 750 and registration opens on May 20, 2009.

Sun	18	Closed	Ride to the Ride for Kids Time TBD at Biggs H-D. Ride to the Ride for Kids at Mira Costa College. Join hundreds of other motorcyclists for a scenic ride through southern California. You’ll have a great time while raising funds for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's medical research and family support programs! Riders on all makes and models are welcome. The ride will loop back to Mira Costa College. After a light lunch, participants will enjoy a Celebration of Life program that features interviews with young brain tumor survivors—the Ride for Kids® stars of the day. Award presentations to top fundraisers and distribution of premiums will follow. The minimum donation to ride is $35, but the more money you raise, the more premiums you earn.
