Sedona Arizona Trip The Sedona Trip, AKA Weaver Trip, set for May 27 thru 30 or 31st is filling up fast. The View Motel is full, but the overflow Hotel is next door and is the Super 8 at 928-639-1888. Your return date is up to you. It can be the 30th or 31st. Some of us do not want to fight the traffic on the 30th like we did last year, but we understand not everyone can stay the extra day. Make your reservations A.S.A.P. Secreary's Ride - Sawdust Festival Spend the Day watching over 200 artists and stroll along the Sawdust Covered paths through a village of fine arts and superb crafts. From Paintings, Jewelry, Ceramics, Sculptures, Hand Blown Glass, Entertainment and more. Upon arrival the cost will be: General Admission pass $7, Senior (over 65) $5.50. LOH Big Bear Run Come and join us for a great trip up to Big Bear Lake. We will stay at Northwoods Resort in Big Bear. Please call 1-800-866-3121 to make your reservation. Be sure to let them know that you are with Biggs HOG. We will meet at Biggs San Marcos at 8:00 a.m. for the pre-ride briefing. We will meet another group at the Mobil at I-15 and 76 around 8:45. We will have a great ride up to Big Bear stopping for a great breakfast at Law's Restaurant. Generally after we arrive in Big Bear everyone gathers around the pool to relax or else goes into town. Friday night dinner is on your own. Saturday we will get up and have one or two groups leaving around 9:00 a.m. to go over to Lake Arrowhead for breakfast and more walking around the center. The remainder of the day again is on your own. The party Saturday night at Janice and Larry's starts at 6:00 p.m. We will meet in the parking lot at 5:30 p.m. for the ride over. The cost is $30.00 per person, which Sue will collect in the parking lot prior to leaving Northwoods Lodge. The menu this year will be Carne Asada with all of the condiments and side dishes you can imagine. There is a ton of great food, lots of drinks, and entertainment all evening, including karaoke. It's worty every penny - just ask someone who has been to the party. Sunday morning - most everyone comes home on their own, but some will stay until Monday. This is a great trip - the party at Janice and Larry's alone is worth it! | |
